The original shelving, displayed objects and tools, along with the ceiling and flooring, tell the story of a place that time has barely touched.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"268\" data-end=\"488\">Opened in the mid-19th century by the <strong data-start=\"306\" data-end=\"322\">Paggi family<\/strong>, it began as a grocery and household goods store, quickly becoming a reference point for the village thanks to a bakery provided for families who did not have one.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"490\" data-end=\"816\">In the early 20th century, <strong data-start=\"517\" data-end=\"531\">Tito Paggi<\/strong>, the founder\u2019s son, transformed the business into a hardware store.
